RACOM Community Credit Union exists for its members. It is owned and controlled by its members and the profits are returned to them in the form of the highest possible rates on share/savings, unlike banks and savings and loans where a few shareholders benefit from the profits.

    Racom Community Credit Union was founded in 1968 as ERTL Employees Credit Union. In 1999, the credit union expanded it's charter to community based and the members chose the new name of RACOM Community Credit Union.

    The Board of Directors of RACOM Community Credit Union consists of twelve of your fellow member/owners from the local area or are employed locally. They are fully aware of the local economic conditions and how it affects you at all times. The Board of Directors are elected by you, the members, to give you a say in how the Credit Union is run. The officers and committees are as follows: President, Chairman, Secretary, Credit/Loan Committee, Audit Committee, Personnel and Marketing Committee. The election for directors is held at the annual meeting in Febuary.

    To be a Credit Union member you must live or work in Dubuque, Delaware, Clayton, or Jones County or be related to a present member of RACOM Community Credit Union.
